An ABS warning light is not a cosmetic problem on a commercial truck. It’s a DOT inspection item, it usually disables anti-lock braking entirely, and on many of these chassis it takes traction and stability control out with it. When the codes point at the control module rather than a wheel-speed sensor, a new module from the dealer is often back-ordered — and priced like the truck still has a payment on it.
We stock used OEM ABS modules pulled from running donor trucks, matched to your part number and tested before they ship. It’s the same module your dealer would sell you, at a fraction of list, usually on the road in under a week.
Signs your abs module has failed
- ABS and/or brake warning light stays on after start-up
- Internal module fault or lost-communication codes (U0121, C-codes that return right after clearing)
- ABS activates at low speed on dry pavement, or no ABS pulsation on a hard stop
- Scan tool can’t communicate with the ABS controller
- Traction/stability control disabled along with ABS
Before you order
- Match the part number printed on your existing module — most ABS modules are application-specific and a VIN alone isn’t always enough. Send a photo of the label with your quote request.
- Confirm whether your truck combines the module with the hydraulic pump (Isuzu N-series EHCU) or keeps them separate (most Ford and GM). If the pump motor is the failure, see ABS Pump.
- GM and Ford modules may need dealer or scan-tool programming after installation; many Isuzu and Fuso units are plug-and-play. Ask when you order — we’ll tell you what your truck needs.
- Rule out a wheel-speed sensor and wiring first — they fail far more often than the module and cost far less.

Frequently asked questions
Which trucks do you stock a used ABS Module for?
Isuzu NPR, NQR and NRR; Ford F-450 and F-550; Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 4500HD/5500HD plus Kodiak and TopKick C4500; Ram 4500 and 5500; and Mitsubishi Fuso Canter FE125–FE180. Pick your truck below or send us your VIN.
Is a used ABS Module tested before it ships?
Yes. Every abs module we sell is pulled from a running donor truck, inspected and tested before it ships.
How do I get a quote for a used ABS Module?
Use the form on this page or call us. Share your truck and VIN and we confirm exact fitment, then call you back with a price in about 30 seconds during business hours — or email it if we can’t reach you.
Is a used ABS Module covered by a warranty?
Yes — used electronics like this abs module are backed by our warranty, a category most sellers exclude entirely. Exact terms are confirmed on your quote.
Do you ship a used ABS Module nationwide?
Yes — we ship to all 48 contiguous states with tracked delivery. Most parts arrive in 3–7 business days; engines, transmissions and axles ship freight and typically arrive in 5–10.
Does a used ABS module need to be programmed?
It depends on the truck. Many Isuzu NPR/NQR and Fuso Canter modules are plug-and-play when the part number matches. GM and Ford units typically need a scan-tool setup or dealer flash after installation. We tell you exactly what your truck requires before you buy.
Will a used ABS module clear my ABS light?
If the fault is genuinely in the module, yes — after installation and any required setup, the codes clear and stay clear. If a wheel-speed sensor or harness fault is the real cause the light will return, which is why we recommend confirming the diagnosis first (see our ABS guide).
Is a used electronic module covered by a warranty?
Yes. Electronics are covered under our warranty — a category most used-parts sellers refuse to warranty at all. Programming, where your truck needs it, is the buyer’s responsibility unless agreed on your quote.
