Used ABS Pump for Medium-Duty Trucks
ABS hydraulic units (pump / modulator) — when the module is fine but the valves and pump aren’t.
- Used OEM part
- Tested before shipping
- 30-day warranty
- Ships to the lower 48

The ABS hydraulic unit — pump motor and valve block — is what actually modulates brake pressure. When the pump motor fails, a valve sticks, or internal corrosion traps air, you get an ABS light with pump-motor codes, a pedal that won’t firm up after bleeding, or a wheel that locks under ABS. On many trucks it’s sold only as a complete assembly with the module, at a price that makes shops look for alternatives.
We stock used OEM ABS pumps/HCUs from running donor trucks, with or without the module depending on your truck’s design, tested and covered by our warranty.
Signs your abs pump has failed
- ABS light with pump-motor or valve-circuit codes
- Pedal stays soft after a proper bleed — air trapped in the modulator
- Brakes drag, or one wheel locks during an ABS stop
- Pump runs continuously, or won’t run at all during self-test
- Brake fluid leaking at the unit, or corrosion at the line fittings
- No ABS pulsation on a hard stop on a loose surface
Before you order
- Tell us whether you need the hydraulic unit only or the unit with the module attached — on Isuzu N-series the EHCU is one assembly; on many Ford/GM trucks they separate.
- Send your VIN and the part number off the unit.
- A scan-tool ABS service bleed is required after installation on every truck we cover — a conventional bleed won’t clear the modulator.
- Replace crushed or corroded brake lines and use fresh DOT 3/4 fluid.

Frequently asked questions
Which trucks do you stock a used ABS Pump for?
Isuzu NPR, NQR and NRR; Ford F-450 and F-550; Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 4500HD/5500HD plus Kodiak and TopKick C4500; Ram 4500 and 5500; and Mitsubishi Fuso Canter FE125–FE180. Pick your truck below or send us your VIN.
Is a used ABS Pump tested before it ships?
Yes. Every abs pump we sell is pulled from a running donor truck, inspected and tested before it ships.
How do I get a quote for a used ABS Pump?
Use the form on this page or call us. Share your truck and VIN and we confirm exact fitment, then call you back with a price in about 30 seconds during business hours — or email it if we can’t reach you.
Is a used ABS Pump covered by a warranty?
Yes, we stand behind this abs pump with our warranty. Exact terms are confirmed on your quote.
Do you ship a used ABS Pump nationwide?
Yes — we ship to all 48 contiguous states with tracked delivery. Most parts arrive in 3–7 business days; engines, transmissions and axles ship freight and typically arrive in 5–10.
Do I need the module or the pump?
Codes for the pump motor or a valve circuit point at the hydraulic unit. Codes for internal module faults or lost communication point at the module. Describe your codes in the quote request and we’ll tell you which — or supply the complete assembly.
Why is the pedal still soft after replacing the unit?
Air in the modulator. It needs a scan-tool bleed that cycles the ABS valves while fluid is pushed through; a two-person bleed won’t do it. See our brake-pedal guide.
