Used HVAC Control Head for Medium-Duty Trucks
HVAC control heads / climate control panels — mode, blend and blower control that actually responds.
- Used OEM part
- Tested before shipping
- 30-day warranty
- Ships to the lower 48

When the blower runs but you can’t change the temperature, the mode won’t come off defrost, or the panel is dead with good fuses, the HVAC control head is the usual failure — worn knobs, cracked solder or a burnt blower-speed output. On Isuzu N-series and Fuso Canter cabs the control head is a known weak point; on Ford and GM the electronic heads fail with the illumination and the mode logic.
We supply used OEM control heads from running donor trucks with every function verified, so you get the correct fit, connectors and control logic for your truck’s actuators.
Signs your hvac control head has failed
- Blower runs only on one speed, or not at all, with a good motor and resistor
- Temperature or mode won’t change — stuck on defrost or floor
- Panel backlight dead or flickering
- Buttons or knobs unresponsive, or the wrong function responds
- A/C indicator won’t light and the compressor never gets the request
- Fan speed drops out once the panel warms up
Before you order
- Send your VIN and a photo of the panel — manual vs. electronic controls, rear-HVAC and A/C vs. heat-only trucks use different heads.
- Rule out the blower-motor resistor/module and blend-door actuator first; they share symptoms and cost less.
- Electronic heads on some GM and Ford trucks run an actuator recalibration after installation (usually a simple procedure).
- Check the connector for corrosion on tilt-cab trucks.

Which trucks do you stock a used HVAC Control Head for?
Isuzu NPR, NQR and NRR; Ford F-450 and F-550; Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 4500HD/5500HD plus Kodiak and TopKick C4500; Ram 4500 and 5500; and Mitsubishi Fuso Canter FE125–FE180. Pick your truck below or send us your VIN.
Is a used HVAC Control Head tested before it ships?
Yes. Every hvac control head we sell is pulled from a running donor truck, inspected and tested before it ships.
How do I get a quote for a used HVAC Control Head?
Use the form on this page or call us. Share your truck and VIN and we confirm exact fitment, then call you back with a price in about 30 seconds during business hours — or email it if we can’t reach you.
Is a used HVAC Control Head covered by a warranty?
Yes, we stand behind this hvac control head with our warranty. Exact terms are confirmed on your quote.
Do you ship a used HVAC Control Head nationwide?
Yes — we ship to all 48 contiguous states with tracked delivery. Most parts arrive in 3–7 business days; engines, transmissions and axles ship freight and typically arrive in 5–10.
Is a used HVAC control head plug-and-play?
On most trucks, yes. Some electronic heads run an actuator recalibration on first power-up or with a scan tool. We’ll tell you what applies to your VIN.
How do I know it’s the head and not the blower resistor?
If the blower works on high only, suspect the resistor/module. If speeds are missing along with mode or temperature control, or the panel is dead, it’s the head.
