Warranty Policy
Effective date: July 11, 2026
Warranty coverage
Most parts include a 30-day warranty unless stated otherwise on your quote. Engines and transmissions include 60–90 days of coverage depending on age and availability. Coverage applies only to the part itself — labor and associated expenses are excluded. When a defect is confirmed, we ship a replacement if one is available; otherwise we refund the purchase price.
Engine coverage
Covers internal mechanical failure, including rod knock, a cracked block, or severe internal smoke. External components — alternators, starters, sensors, and A/C parts — are not covered under engine warranty.
Transmission coverage
Transmissions are warranted to operate correctly at installation and shift through all gears properly at the time of purchase. Fresh fluid replacement at installation is required for coverage to remain valid.
What voids the warranty
Coverage is voided immediately if:
- Installation requirements below weren’t followed
- Installation wasn’t performed by a certified technician
- A required fluid flush, filter replacement, or code reset was skipped
- There’s evidence of overheating, misuse, or abuse after delivery
- The part was modified, altered, or disassembled
- A claim is filed after the coverage period has ended
What’s not covered
Labor, improper installation, misuse, overheating, post-delivery damage, and normal wear items (seals, belts, hoses, fluids) are excluded. Sensors, wiring, joints, housings, brackets, and external engine accessories are also excluded unless the part itself was the item purchased.
Installation requirements
Installation must be performed by a qualified technician.
Engines require:
- Fluid replacement and new filters
- New thermostat and seals
- Cooling system flush
Transmissions require:
- New seals and fresh fluid
- Filter kit installation
- Cooling line flush and code reset
Electronic components such as ABS modules and body control modules may need OEM or dealer software programming — this is the buyer’s responsibility unless otherwise agreed on your quote.
Core charge / deposit policy
Certain parts (engines, transmissions, and other drivetrain components) may require a refundable core charge to ensure return of the used unit. Any core charge is stated clearly on your quote before purchase.
The old core unit must be returned within 30 days of delivery of the new part, in rebuildable condition — not seized, cracked, or fire-damaged. A core refund is issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days of receipt and inspection. Returns require the original invoice and prepaid shipping with tracking. Failing to return the core within 30 days forfeits the deposit.
Warranty claims
Claims require a diagnostic report, proof of professional installation, photos of the defective part, and (where applicable) a video of the issue. Warranty claims are reviewed within 5–7 business days of receiving complete documentation. You’ll receive an email with the outcome. Approved replacements ship within 3–5 business days; approved refunds process within 7–10 business days.
Returns & restocking
Incorrect orders and cancellations may be subject to a 25% restocking fee. Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the error was ours. Returned items must be in their original condition — see our Return & Refund Policy for full details.
Limitation of liability
Our liability is limited strictly to the purchase price of the part. We are not responsible for labor, towing, storage, rental vehicles, lost income, or other consequential damages.
