Used A/C Compressor for Medium-Duty Trucks
A/C compressors with clutch — tested for engagement and pumping, so drivers stay cool through July routes.
- Used OEM part
- Tested before shipping
- 30-day warranty
- Ships to the lower 48
- Refundable core

A truck without air conditioning in a Texas, Arizona or Florida summer is a driver-retention problem, not a comfort problem. When the compressor clutch won’t engage, the pump seizes or it’s pushing metal through the system, a new OEM unit from the dealer is priced for the fleet that never checks. We supply used OEM compressors pulled from running donor trucks with cold A/C, tested for clutch engagement and pumping, and covered by our warranty.
Many of the trucks we cover share compressors across model years, so we can usually ship the same or next business day. A refundable core charge may apply and is stated on your quote.
Signs your a/c compressor has failed
- Clutch won’t engage with a full charge and the switch on
- Clutch engages, then cycles rapidly or squeals
- Grinding, rattling or a seized pulley
- Metal flakes in the receiver-drier or expansion valve
- A/C blows warm at idle and cools only at speed
- Refrigerant leaking at the shaft seal or body seams
Before you order
- Send your VIN and engine — compressor type, pulley groove count and connector differ by engine and year.
- Replace the receiver-drier/accumulator and orifice/expansion valve, flush the system and add the correct oil charge — the warranty and the compressor depend on it.
- If the old compressor failed internally, flush or replace the condenser; debris will kill the replacement.
- Pull a vacuum and recharge by weight to spec; guessing the charge is the leading cause of second failures.

Isuzu NPR, NQR and NRR; Ford F-450 and F-550; Chevrolet Silverado and GMC Sierra 4500HD/5500HD plus Kodiak and TopKick C4500; Ram 4500 and 5500; and Mitsubishi Fuso Canter FE125–FE180. Pick your truck below or send us your VIN.
Is a used A/C Compressor tested before it ships?
Yes. Every a/c compressor we sell is pulled from a running donor truck, inspected and tested before it ships.
How do I get a quote for a used A/C Compressor?
Use the form on this page or call us. Share your truck and VIN and we confirm exact fitment, then call you back with a price in about 30 seconds during business hours — or email it if we can’t reach you.
Is a used A/C Compressor covered by a warranty?
Yes, we stand behind this a/c compressor with our warranty. Exact terms are confirmed on your quote.
Do you ship a used A/C Compressor nationwide?
Yes — we ship to all 48 contiguous states with tracked delivery. Most parts arrive in 3–7 business days; engines, transmissions and axles ship freight and typically arrive in 5–10.
Is the clutch included?
Yes — compressors ship complete with the clutch and pulley as pulled from the donor truck, tested for engagement.
What has to be replaced with a used compressor?
The receiver-drier or accumulator and the orifice tube/expansion valve, plus a system flush and the correct oil charge. Skipping these is what kills replacement compressors — and it voids the warranty.
Is there a core charge on this A/C Compressor?
This a/c compressor may carry a refundable core charge, returned when your old unit is sent back within 30 days. Any core charge is stated clearly on your quote.
