A Chevrolet Kodiak C4500 with underboost codes, smoke and a turbo whine is losing money every day it sits. We stock used OEM turbochargers for 2003–2009 Chevrolet Kodiak C4500 trucks, checked for shaft play, seals and actuator function and covered by our warranty. Send your VIN and engine and we confirm the match before you pay.
How it works
This part is in our inventory and ready to ship. Share your VIN and we confirm fitment before you buy, then we’ll call you within about 30 seconds with your quote — or email it if we can’t reach you.
Signs your turbocharger has failed
- Loss of power with P0299 (underboost) or P0234 (overboost)
- Blue or gray smoke; oil in the intercooler pipes
- Whine, siren or grinding from the turbo that rises with RPM
- VGT actuator codes, or a sticking vane mechanism (sluggish, surging boost)
- Excess shaft play — the compressor wheel touches the housing
- Oil consumption with no external leak
Before you order
- Send your VIN and engine — turbos differ by engine, model year and emissions calibration, and VGT actuators are not interchangeable.
- Find and fix the cause: a plugged oil feed, restricted return, stretched oil-change intervals or a plugged air filter will kill the replacement too.
- Change the oil and filter, clean or replace the intercooler and charge pipes, and prime the oil feed before first start.
- On VGT turbos, clear codes and perform the actuator relearn if the manual calls for it.

Frequently asked questions
Do you sell used Turbocharger for all medium-duty truck brands?
Yes — we carry used turbocharger units for Isuzu, Ford, Chevrolet, GMC, Ram, and Mitsubishi Fuso medium-duty trucks, not just the Chevrolet Kodiak C4500.
Is this used Turbocharger tested before it ships?
Yes. Every turbocharger we sell is inspected and tested before it ships, so it works right the first time.
How do I order this Turbocharger?
Request a free quote above or call us. Share your VIN and we’ll confirm exact fitment, then call you back with a quote in about 30 seconds — if we can’t reach you, we’ll email it instead.
Do you offer a warranty on this Turbocharger?
Yes, we stand behind this turbocharger with our warranty. Exact terms are confirmed on your quote.
Do you ship this Turbocharger nationwide?
Yes — we ship to all 48 contiguous states with tracked delivery. Most parts arrive in 3–7 business days; engines, transmissions and axles ship freight and typically arrive in 5–10.
How do you check a used turbo?
Shaft radial and axial play, compressor and turbine wheel condition, oil-seal condition and, on VGT units, the actuator’s movement through its full range.
Is the actuator included?
Turbos ship with the actuator as fitted on the donor engine. If yours is separately serviceable we’ll tell you.
Is there a core charge on this Turbocharger?
This turbocharger may carry a refundable core charge, returned when your old unit is sent back within 30 days. Any core charge is stated clearly on your quote.
